ETG provides a new educational tool for developers

EtherCAT technology group offers manufacturers and developers as well as users support in EtherCAT technology services. This protocol is an additional tool to adapt to the needs of developers. The poster deals with the basics of EtherCAT technology, EtherCAT Device Protocol (EDP), and provides a visual overview of EtherCAT. The basic functional principles of EtherCAT, frame structure, and its processing in EtherCAT Slave Controller (ESC) are described. In addition, it provides additional information on the registers used by the ESC, the object model, and references to the relevant specification documents.
