Is ATEM compatible with all projectors?

I have two projectors that work perfectly with the direct image from the camera (EPSON X36+ and EPSON X24+), but when the signal passes through the ATEM, only the X24 displays the image, the other does not receive a signal. In both possibilities, the same cables were used, and they were also tested with different cables. I used a simple distributor instead of ATEM and both projectors received the signal perfectly.

Answers

There are various causes for image problems.

  • Check whether the settings of the projectors are different
  • HDCP often causes problems with video mixers of any type. Check the entire signal chain for settings and deactivate them.
  • Reduce the resolution of the camera or projector. (maximum 1080p60Hz)
  • Check the HDMI cable lengths. Try a shorter cable on the X36+.
  • Check your EDID settings.
