Several security issues were discovered in the Linux kernel.
An attacker could possibly use these to compromise the system.
This update corrects flaws in the following subsystems:

  • Cryptographic API;
  • Netfilter;
  • Network traffic control

Update instructions
After a standard system update you need to reboot your computer to make all the necessary changes.
The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package versions:

24.04 LTS noble

  • linux-image-6.17.0-1009-realtime – 6.17.0-1009.10~24.04.1
  • linux-image-realtime-6.17 – 6.17.0-1009.10~24.04.1
  • linux-image-realtime-hwe-24.04 – 6.17.0-1009.10~24.04.1
