With the Charging Manager Kit from cFos eMobility we offer a simple and efficient solution to run your personal charging infrastructure. With the external control unit you can control a charging infrastructure with an unlimited number of charging points.
What is possible with the Charging Manager Kit?
In order to manage larger charging systems (from about 10 wallboxes) reliably and safely, we recommend using the Charging Manager Kit. The Charging Manager Kit is therefore interesting for property managers, underground parking lot operators, commercial properties with employee parking spaces and so on.
Integrated cFos Charging Manager.
Our powerful charging and load management system, the cFos Charging Manager, is pre-installed in the Charging Manager Kit. With the cFos Charging Manager, you operate your charging infrastructure, can use many useful, innovative and practical features and, with the help of our load management, get the most out of your home connection without having to have it extended in an expensive and time-consuming way. The cFos Charging Manager uses load management to ensure that power limits are adhered to and/or that the use of the charging power is optimized for your purposes (e.g. by including a PV solar system).
cFos Power Brain & third-party wall boxes
The Charging Manager Kit supports not only our own cFos Power Brain wallboxes, but also many wallboxes from other manufacturers. You can operate as many cFos Power Brain wallboxes as you like with the Charging Manager Kit. For each third-party box you need a cFos Charging Manager license.
Connection & Connectivity
The Charging Manager Kit communicates via WLAN, LAN and has two RS485 interfaces (protocol: Modbus RTU). If your charging system is large in area, please plan for additional WLAN hotspots. With RS485 cabling (usually one bell wire is sufficient) you can wire wallboxes with corresponding interfaces in series. There, as well as with the connection via Ethernet cable, you should plan for appropriate cable lengths...
**Did you know?
With a cFos Power Brain Wallbox you can already manage smaller systems with up to 10 Wallboxes. For charging systems with more than 10 wallboxes, we recommend the Charging Manager Kit, which can also be operated independently of a cFos Power Brain Wallbox. As a master unit, the cFos Power Brain Wallbox is the control center of your charging system, thanks to the powerful Power Brain.
