These updates contain fixes for the following issues:

  • Sometimes, xe console doesn’t show anything.
  • After reboot, the hostname changes to localhost with static IP.
  • A VM might fail to shutdown when a SR has already been unplugged.
  • Active Directory authentication fails when the user information contains a colon (:).
  • Adding an SR-IOV network causes the creation of multiple NICs that do not work. You are also not able to add an SR-IOV network to any VM.
  • A race condition when creating Observers.
  • Distributed tracing spans are not exported on host evacuation.
  • Fix xe host-get-cpu-features command and add pool-get-cpu-features.

These updates contain the following improvements:

  • Updates to the multipath configuration for NetApp SANs.
  • Move collection of memory metrics from xcp-rrdd to rrdp-squeezed.
  • Improve PV driver feature handling to avoid allowing VM operations that might fail.
  • Improve coalesce operations to improve stability in GFS2 and XFS.
  • Improve 802.1Q header handling in Open vSwitch.
  • Improve auto-completion in the xe CLI.
  • Optimize communication between XAPI and xenopsd.
  • Improve error messages related to Workload Balancing to include more detail.
  • Performance improvement during bootstorm.
