​Upgrade Instructions

  • CP4-R V1: Please confirm that your processor is a V1 model before loading FW manually. To confirm, connect to the processor via text console in Toolbox and issue the command "ver -v". The model number on the first line will show "CP4-R Cntrl Eng". If wrong file is used there are no side effects, and the Firmware upgrade will fail.

  • Added support for Conditionals and Variables
  • Conditionals let you create IF and ELSE statements in Sequences. In IF statements, the value of variables or the value of device states can be compared
  • Added additional events for devices and subsystems providing the ability to program actions based off state changes
  • Added support for creating lock codes via the Crestron Home application for Crestron Yale InfinetEX locks
  • “Cloud Owner” status is required via the app to create lock codes

  • Resolved issue where certain Lighting drivers were not showing up in the Crestron Home driver menu
  • Removed the now playing bar from the browse menu on Crestron Touch Panels to improve the browsing experience
  • Resolved issue where Satel security systems were not triggering Crestron Home interrupts for any events such as an entry delay
  • Resolved issue where security system function buttons were not updating in the end-user app after being modified in the setup app
  • Improved performance of the climate control page when there are many thermostats in the system
  • Resolved issue with Crestron Home Extensions where button presses were not registering if the button was held for a short period of time
  • Resolved issue where a disabled driver was becoming re-enabled after a reboot

For optimal paging performance it is recommended to update all touchpanels to the most recent FW found on the crestron.com website

The manufacturer Crestron has not yet set up its devicebase profile. Content such as updates, compatibilities and support may only be maintained with a delay.
