USB connection problem?

Crestron UC-SB1-CAMUSB connection keeps turning off and on at the PC. Green LED light on the soundbar does not light up. video signal e.g. with zoom only sporadically available at the PC. It doesn't seem to be a loose contact on the cable. Everything was fine until 4 weeks ago.
