With the bluetooth module plugged in - hardly audible and no microphobe, with the USB cable it's fine. Why would this be?

When the device is plugged by using only the bluetooth dongle, one can hardly hear any sound, However, the same isn't true for the builtin USB cable. Windows 11 operating system. Tested with YT and MS Teams. Checked settings in Control Panel. System recognises the BT dongle.

If the Jabra Speak 710 is connected via the Bluetooth dongle and is barely audible and the microphone is not working, there may be a problem with the Bluetooth connection or the dongle itself.

You can try replacing the Bluetooth dongle or test a different Bluetooth connection to see if the problem persists. It is also possible that there is interference from other wireless devices in the area that are interfering with the Bluetooth connection.

It is also possible that there is a problem with the operating system software or driver. In this case, make sure that all drivers and updates are up to date and that the operating system is working properly.
