Update

Annotation for wired HDMI screen sharing

New and enhanced features

General features

  • Annotation for wired HDMI screen sharing
All participants, including remote individuals, can annotate on content being shared in a Zoom Room via wired HDMI.
  • Lenovo ThinkSmart Core (16 GB RAM) for 2-Camera Intelligent Director
Users can configure the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core (16 GB RAM) as a two- camera Intelligent Director system.
  • Yealink ZVC S90 kit for 2-Camera Intelligent Director
Users can configure the Yealink ZVC S90kit as a two-camera Intelligent Director system. ZVC S90 includes MTouch Plus, MCore Pro, two UVC86(s) +AVHub.

In-meeting features

  • Use standalone Zoom Room cameras with Smart Gallery or Intelligent director cameras
Administrators can configure additional standalone cameras for use with Smart Gallery or Intelligent Director. One Smart Gallery camera can be used with one or two additional standalone cameras. Alternatively, two or three Intelligent Director cameras can be used with one additional stand-alone camera. The additional stand-alone camera(s) can be used with any camera mode supported by the hardware: Manual (including default preset), Speaker Focus, Auto framing, or Multi-focus.
  • Greater host control of AI Companion during meetings
Hosts can control who in the meeting can ask AI Companion questions about the current meeting, when active in the current meeting. In addition to setting these defaults through web settings, the host can also control AI Companion access during the live meeting. The in-meeting options are the same as the web settings, restricting access to only themselves (the host), all participants from the point they join (meaning they cannot ask questions about topics from before they joined), or all participants for the entire time the AI Companion is active. If this is locked by admins, hosts cannot change this access during the live meeting.

Management features

  • Toggle camera control modes shown on Zoom Rooms controllers and Touch displays
Administrators can configure which camera control modes are available in Zoom Rooms from the web portal.
  • Additional controls for ad-hoc meeting calendar events
When users start an ad-hoc meeting from a Zoom Room using the New Meeting button, calendar integrated rooms will automatically create a calendar event so the room cannot be reserved by someone else during the ad-hoc meeting. With this enhancement, administrators have additional controls to toggle this behavior on or off, and set the duration of the automatically created calendar event.
  • Enhancements to viewing chat
Administrators can choose to display the chat window by default on the Zoom Room display when meetings start.
