The camera freezes regularly during meetings. What is the cause?

During video conferences via Skype, the camera freezes after a while for no apparent reason and no longer focuses on the person speaking. The Rally Bar is connected directly to the device via the original Logitech USB cable (25 m). The display is connected to the device separately via HDMI. It is not recognizable what could be the cause here and I would be grateful for a hint or naming of possible sources of error.
