BUG FIXES

CollabOS

  • Fixed an issue that occasionally prevented Sync Insights from receiving meeting usage data on networks that use a web proxy.
  • Fixed an issue that could result in a “This is embarrassing” screen during system startup, which required a manual device restart.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Mic Pods to incorrectly report as disconnected in Sync when HDMI CEC was enabled and a connected display went into the power-saving state.
  • Fixed an issue where the device may rarely fail to boot up properly, requiring a power cycle to restart.
  • Fixed an issue where a device configured with the Camera setting “Room Occupancy” set to “Off” would unexpectedly set it to “Always on” while a meeting was in progress.
  • Fixed an issue where a device may unexpectedly disconnect from Sync Portal.
  • Fixed an issue where devices provisioned to Sync would occasionally experience unexpected configuration changes, such as time format modifications.
  • Fixed an issue where Sight devices weren’t recognized in CollabOS or Sync after a reboot was initiated from the Sync portal.

Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android

  • Fixed an issue that prevented PowerPoint Live presentations from being displayed on CollabOS devices.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a white screen to appear on the front-of-room display and Tap display when using BYOD with a laptop connected that enters sleep/powersaving mode.
  • Fixed an issue where a “Swap screens for dual display mode” dialog appeared on the front-of-room or controller display when TAC configuration profile and CollabOS display settings for display swapping conflicted. TAC configuration profile settings for display swap will now be ignored.
  • Fixed an issue where Teams camera modes stopped working when users switched to the built-in camera after previously using a daisy-chained Sight as the external camera.
  • Fixed an issue where, in dual display configuration, the screen layout would appear mirrored after waking from power-saving mode.
  • Fixed an issue where the message “HDMI-2 Output is not connected” would be mirrored when resuming from idle state.

Google Meet on ChromeOS

  • Fixed an issue where the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) window could flicker intermittently during Google Meet video calls when using devices running CollabOS 1.14 with ChromeOS-based room computers.

Zoom Rooms Appliance

  • Fixed an issue where motion sensor events would not be sent when the Zoom Rooms setting “Count the number of people in room” was disabled.
  • Fixed an issue where a device with Speaker Boost enabled would play Zoom Rooms Digital Signage audio at a low volume even when Digital Signage audio is muted.
  • Fixed an issue where the CollabOS device would unexpectedly disconnect from ZDM after a reboot when network services or NTP sync exceeded the expected threshold.
