Introducing Camera Controls in BYOD Mode when using Tap IP

NEW FEATURES

Introducing Camera Controls in BYOD Mode when using Tap IP

  • Rally Bar conference cameras and MeetUp 2 paired with Tap IP now provide in-room camera controls such as RightSight 2 modes, manual camera PTZ controls, and more when configured to use BYOD as the service provider.

IMPROVEMENTS

Language Support

  • Added support for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean keyboards.

Remote UI Access

  • We made several user experience improvements based on your feedback:
  1. When initiating a Remote UI Access session from Sync Portal, the session is now automatically verified without requiring LNA login credentials.
  2. In-room participants can now end Remote UI sessions through their CollabOS Relay-paired Tap IP device.
  3. MacOS Safari is now a supported web browser for accessing Remote UI Access.

Local Network Access (LNA)

  • We added the ability to initiate a factory reset using LNA.
  • The onboarding flow and device settings will now let you enable LNA even when there is no network connection.
  • If your network supports FQDN-based resolution, LNA will now connect and display the device hostname instead of the local IP.
  • Added the MAC address and serial number on the LNA activation screen for devices without touch control.

Microsoft Teams Rooms

Zoom Rooms Appliance

  • Updated the included Zoom Controller Appliance version to ZRC 6.3.5.
