Excel
- Sensitivity toolbar is now available when creating a copy of a document: The sensitivity bar is now available in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint when users are creating copies of their documents in File / Save As. This helps users understand the security policies that apply to their document.
Outlook
- Tables are more accessible for screen readers: Screen readers should more sensibly read out information in tables.
- Teams Meeting Apps now work in Outlook too: Now, you can configure a meeting app while scheduling an invite in Outlook. This meeting app will be ready to use when you chat or join the meeting on Teams.
PowerPoint

Word
- Removed preference to open files in Reading View: The option "Open email attachments and other uneditable files in reading view" has been removed. The experience now defaults to "Viewing Mode".
- Removed option to display Track Changes balloons in left margin: The advanced Track Changes option to set the margin for balloons to left has been removed.

Office suite
- Use sensitivity labels in Microsoft 365 apps when connected experiences are disabled: Your organization can now disable connected experiences for privacy concerns without impacting data security policies, such as sensitivity labels. Services associated with Microsoft Purview (e.g. sensitivity labels, rights management, ...) are no longer controlled by policy settings to manage privacy controls for Microsoft 365 Apps. Instead, these services will rely on their existing security admin controls in Purview portals.
- Open locked records as read-only: Files with retention labels marking them as locked records will now open as read-only to prevent user edits.

Access
- We fixed an issue where ODBC connections to Salesforce were no longer working.
- Chart gridlines are now darker, so they are more visible.
- We fixed an issue where the app closed unexpected with possible data loss and/or data corruption when a user would attempt to copy certain hyphen characters.
- We resolved an issue in Access where the MouseWheel event on forms was not functioning correctly. When used in an Access form, the event didn’t indicate the number of lines to scroll through the Count argument.
Excel
- We fixed an issue where the filter drop downs were missing on PivotTables in outline and tabular modes on desktop only.
- We fixed an issue where refreshing a PivotTable caused a "We couldn’t complete the action for the PivotTable" error.
- We fixed an issue where Excel closed unexpectedly when a Drill Down worksheet was moved to a new workbook.
- We fixed an issue where some users couldn't see checkboxes getting rendered after inserting them.
- We fixed an issue where the user would experience changes in column widths unexpectedly when using PivotTables.
- Fixed an issue where VBA calculation caused the Excel app to stop responding.

- Fixed an issue that caused the application to repeatedly ask for login credentials.
- Fixed an issue that caused OneNote to not display the correct font contrast in dark theme, when user had set theme to "use system setting".
- We fixed an issue where OneNote closed unexpectedly on Windows Server 2016.
- We have updated the minimum size for the OneNote window so you can resize it to a smaller size if desired both on height and width. And the quick note window will remember the last size you chose and respect it.
- Added support for printing to OneNote when Windows Protected Printing (WPP) is enabled on Windows 11.
- We fixed an issue that was causing pages to have a blank title when sending a meeting request from Outlook to OneNote.
Outlook
- We fixed an issue that caused an incorrect progress dialog to appear for some unrecoverable add-in errors.
- We fixed an issue that caused Word and Excel users to see unexpected empty pop up dialogs.
- We fixed an issue that caused the cursor to go to the message body unexpectedly when using F6 and Shift+F6 to navigate between the message fields.

- We have decreased the opacity for watermark content markings inserted into presentations as a result of sensitivity labeling to match the opacity of watermark content markings in Word.

- The error message for the ExportAsFixedFormat method has been updated to provide more information to users when it stops working.
Project
- We fixed a data loss issue where Gantt chart drawings such as text boxes, lines, ovals and so forth were lost when .mpp files were reopened after saving.
- We fixed an issue affecting the calculation of the Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP) when the Actual costs are always calculated by Project option is turned off.
- We fixed an issue where resource leveling on a minute-by-minute basis might unexpectedly show over allocated resources.
- Fixed an issue where signed macros would not run even if the Trust Center Macro Settings "Disable all macros except digitally signed macros" option was selected.

- We fixed an issue where the app can display multiple permission dialogs when opening a file with sensitivity label.

Office Suite
- Office 2016 proofing tools are offered for download via standalone per-language installers. Even if they may appear to function correctly, however, using these Office 2016 proofing tools together with later versions of Office isn't supported.We fixed an issue preventing an unexpected close in Word, Outlook, OneNote and PowerPoint caused by this unsupported installation scenario. Users are strongly recommended to uninstall the Office 2016 proofing tools if they are using a later version of Office and to install the appropriate Office language packs instead. Office language packs update automatically along with the version of Office with which they are paired.
- In certain cases where the document must be opened as read-only, PowerPoint didn't properly indicate the read-only state to the user until a save was attempted.
- We fixed an issue where the application would not render the grid properly on loading some files with Right to Left and freeze panes.
- We fixed an issue that prevented the insertion of images from SharePoint.
- We fixed an issue that prevented paste from using the destination theme's font style.
- Fixed an issue where 3D model files with missing external texture resources couldn't be inserted.
- We fixed a stability issue related to cursors when selecting pictures and other objects.
- We fixed an issue where some PowerPoint presentations created by third-party tools wouldn't open correctly and some content would be removed.
- Fixed a problem where PowerPoint would sometimes close unexpectedly when reading the slide content with a screen reader, particularly when navigating by heading in Slide Show on a slide with hyperlinks.
- Fixed a problem where the legend of a map chart is missing in print, print preview and export-as-PDF.
- We fixed an issue where users couldn't export a protected file to PDF if the sensitivity label applied to the file disables the EDITRIGHTSDATA usage right.
- We resolved an issue which was prompted when trying to perform office setup.
- We fixed an issue where a label applied to a newly created file or label changed in an existing file which had any other label applied was not updating in the overflow menu in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word apps.
- We fixed an issue where the ink to text pen was not working properly.
- We fixed a localization issue where Japanese characters were displayed with non-Japanese font, Malgun Gothic or Microsoft JhengHei.
- We fixed an issue where an embedded font wouldn't render if the file was opened offline.
- We fixed an issue where certain PowerPoint files with embedded fonts were not functioning properly when the same font was also installed locally and configured as an organizational font. Opening these files would trigger an error message indicating that the installation of the embedded font had stopped working.
- We fixed a localization issue where Japanese characters appeared in MS Gothic.
- We have a better error message for when a table exceeds the maximum memory load.
- We improved the title for the initial heuristic dataframe creation.
