Yes, a Planner and other apps like Forms and OneNote. Third-party apps like Trello, Jira, Asana and etc. can be added as a tab in a channel as well. Keep in mind that the administrator will have control over what's allowed and what's not allowed for use in your organization.
Using the "Apps" button (at the bottom left of the navigation column), you can add the apps as tabs that the administrator has approved.
