KB5034765: "Copilot in Windows" icon is now displayed on the right-hand side of the taskbar.

Improvements

  • New! The "Copilot in Windows" icon is now displayed on the right-hand side of the taskbar. In addition, the display of Show desktop in the far right corner of the taskbar is disabled by default. To enable the option again, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar. You can also right-click on the taskbar and select Taskbar settings.

Note Windows 11 devices will receive this new functionality at different times. Some of these new features will be rolled out gradually using the Controlled Feature Rollout (CFR) for consumers.

  • This update fixes an issue that affects the downloading of device metadata. Downloads from Windows Metadata and Internet Services (WMIS) over HTTPS are now more secure.
