Neat Devices Receive Major Updates and Bug Fixes

New Features:

• Auto Wake-up: Available on Neat Bar Pro and Neat Frame, disabled by default but can be enabled in settings.
• Lock Screen: A Neat system lock screen with PIN protection added for Neat Frame.
• Screen Reader Option: New accessibility feature that reads items interacted with on the device.
• Support for Polish Language: Polish language is now available on Neat devices.
• Manual Brightness Slider: Users can change brightness for Neat Pad, Frame, or Board via system settings.
• Screen Standby Customization: Added settings for how long the screen stays on when no one is present.
• Firmware Update Notifications: On-screen alerts for available firmware upgrades on Neat devices.

Enhancements:

• Disabled TLS 1.1 and 1.0: These protocols are now completely turned off on Neat devices.
• Neat Symmetry Updates: Increased detection range and adjusted wait time for camera framing.
• Neat Bar Pro AUX Ethernet Port Disabled: AUX port no longer usable for network connections.
• Music Mode Removal: Setting can no longer be enabled from device settings; only available via remote access portal.
• Improved Microphone Gain and Loudspeaker EQ: Performance enhancements for audio quality on Neat Frame.
• Reduced Latency for HDMI Sharing: Improvements to frame rate and latency effects while sharing content.

Fixed Bugs:

• CUS-391: HDMI content no longer acts as a camera during Teams calls.
• CUS-398: Camera now defaults to auto-framing when joining Microsoft Teams calls.
• CUS-420: Crashing camera issue during Zoom meetings resolved.
• CUS-452: Scaling issue fixed, now displays full content when shared via HDMI.
• CUS-481: Screen standby behavior of Neat Board corrected.
• CUS-327: Keyboard prompt issue on specific touch screens resolved but requires factory reset.
• CUS-482: Static noise during USB Mode now fixed.
• CUS-484: Default background loss issue in Teams meetings corrected.
• INBUGS-1519: Video sending issue during Teams meetings resolved.

Open Issues:

• INBUGS-31: Certificate upload error for CA certificates with text parts noted; workaround available.
• ZOOM-93: Advanced Noise Suppression cannot be disabled, affecting Music mode users.
• CUS-326: Color correction settings in the accessibility options are unfunctional.
• CUS-414: Devices may revert NTP server settings after reboot; factory reset required as workaround.
• CUS-415: Neat Board screen may become unresponsive post-standby; disable auto wake-up as a workaround.
