How to factory reset Neat Bar?

Sometimes, in certain situations, there is a need for a factory reset for the Neat Bar, for example, to change the network settings, set up for different media, and so on.

The factory reset will require you to go through the initial settings again and sign in to the conference platform you are using again.

If you have the Neat Bar and Neat Pad paired, you need to factory reset both of the devices.

You can perform the factory reset either by manually pressing the reset button or software reset from the system settings.

For the manual reset, press the factory reset button and hold it for 5 seconds, release it and the process will begin. A purple Neat logo should appear shortly after the process starts.

When it comes to the software reset, it depends based on which conference setup you have, Zoom Rooms or Microsoft Teams.

For Zoom Rooms, locate the Settings button at the bottom right corner of the Neat Pad and navigate to General -> System Settings -> Enter Zoom Room passcode -> System Settings (Neat) -> System -> Reset. Once you click on reset, you will get a pop-up asking you to press again to proceed.

In Microsoft Team, you will need to press the More(...) button on the Neat Pad and navigate to Device Settings at the bottom. Find the Admin settings -> Password -> Debug and a Reset will become available for choosing.

If the Neat Bar and Pad are paired, the software reset should reset both devices, but if the pairing might be broken (it can be checked in System/Device Settings (Neat) in the Neat Pad), is best to proceed with a manual reset.
