Added support for switching the Owl’s video “Mode”
New features
- Added support for switching the Owl’s video “Mode”, including:
- Auto focus
- Grid
- Panorama (Standalone or paired Meeting Owl)
- Speaker
- Manual
- Whiteboard (Standalone or paired Whiteboard Owl)
- Users can set a preferred functionality for their Owl’s multipurpose button: switching video Mode or toggling the Pano View on or off.
- Users can choose to show the Ignore Zone indicator on their Owl’s Pano Strip (the indicator is currently hidden by default).
Bug fixes
- Paired Owls’ speaker audio will now be synchronized.
- The Secondary Owl in a pair will no longer crash after unplugging the Primary Owl mid-meeting.
- Reduced mic audio dropouts from paired Owls.
- Resolved a bug that caused Owls to incorrectly report an “Offline” Status in The Nest.
- Resolved a bug that prevented users from remotely rebooting their Owls via The Nest or Meeting Owl App.
- Resolved several bugs that caused the Owl to go into an unresponsive state until rebooted.
- Resolved a bug that caused the Owl’s LEDs (“eyes”) to stay on after the meeting ended or its USB cable was unplugged.
- Resolved a bug that caused a blank or black video stream from the Owl on certain video resolutions.
- Resolved a bug that caused a green video stream from the Owl when using certain USB cable types.
- Minor UI bug fixes.
Enhancements
- All Modes and Device Settings will now persist through meetings or reboots until manually changed.
- Improved video management of the Owl’s “Main Stage”, resulting in smoother, less distracting movements on screen.
- Added support for Bluetooth API version 36.
- Various UI improvements.
