New features and updates for Philips Hue lighting control

Philips incorporated the feedback and wishes of Hue Ambiance users into a major update that includes three new light modes and five updates. Philips announced that not all customer requests could be implemented at short notice, but you will incorporate the feedback into future developments for Philips Hue.

The five updates include custom lighting recipes in Living scenes, scene duration and change time, outdoor light intensity, three time slots for sensor recipes and memories set with flashing color lights. In addition, three new light modes have been created.

The first light mode is called "Sunsrise as a trigger" and gives you more light volume at sunrise in the morning. Sensing the weekend light modes allow you to set different rules for your motion detectors for the weekend. The third new light mode lets them deactivate their motion sensors and therefore reads: "Do not disturb my scence".
