PII have to program an application in C# that sends and receives data to and from an Siemens S7 PLC. For some reason they require us to use Profinet RT.
I find it difficult to find a straight answer to the following:
Do you need any additional hardware for the PC to communicate via Profinet RT, other than your standard Ethernet port (100Mbps) ?
