Did anyone find a fix to Excel not downloading from Office 365 on the Flip whiteboard?

Has anyone found a solution to the issue where the Samsung Flip whiteboard does not open up Office 365 Excel files? I found a thread from a year ago (which is about the time the feature failed), but didn't ever see a solution? It should be noted that I can get access to PowerPoint and Word files, but not Excel or Teams any longer. It stays in loading mode and never changes. My IT team was unable to fix this, so any help would be very much appreciated!

On the Samsung websiteyou can now download the latest firmware without a partner. Install the latest firmware for your Flip. To do this, download the upgrade file (USB type). Unzip the folder. Format a USB stick in exFat / Fat32. Copy the files that are in the image folder in the root directory of the USB stick to the USB stick.

The structure should then look like this.

  • /image/upgrade.msd
  • /image/info.txt

Connect the USB stick to the USB port on the back of the Flip. Now open the menu -> Settings -> Support -> Software update -> Search USB stick YES. The update will be installed. The function should then be available again
