How can I use the Samsung Flip Pro for Zoom?

I would like to use the Samsung Flip pro 55 for Zoom. The participants should be able to see the screen of the Flip Pro while I draw on it, for example. We've tried everything with Apple and Microsoft. Unfortunately, we can't find a solution.

Answers

Try the following workarounds:

#1 Zoom Rooms Companion Whiteboard:

  • Connect the Flip Pro via HDMI/USB to a Zoom Rooms controller (e.g. Logitech Rally Bar).
  • Sign in with the same Zoom account, start the whiteboard on the Flip and share it in the meeting ("Share Whiteboard").
  • Drawings should now be displayed live and participants should now be able to annotate. Then export the content via email/Zoom chat.

Alternatively (if no Zoom Rooms controller is available) use the Zoom Web Client:

  • Open zoom.us in the flip browser, start/join a meeting.
  • Share the screen ("Share Screen") and activate the annotations ("Annotate"). A USB webcam completes the setup.

Let me know if this works for you.
