alright, here is a weird one?

hi everyone

i'm a culinary teacher

i use 4 different devices to stream on zoom, logged in as 4 different users (i know i could use cameo but i wanna do that on the cheap) i use a console mac with audio input from mics. video comes from all 4 different devices.

here is my issue: when i spotlight 2 of the feeds, the speaker view on mobile becomes my mics view (a dumb picture) instead of the feeds i am spotlighting.however t, the view is fine on desktop

is there a setting i missed to allow mobile userts to viw 2 spotlights? or at least stay on one?

thanks

It is possible that the view on your phone switches to your microphone view when you beam at multiple feeds at once, as there may be a setting that is set to "Automatic" and thus automatically switches to the active speaker's view. However, you can try to fix this by changing the display mode settings.

To do this, go to the settings in the Zoom app and then to the "Video" menu. Here you can disable "Auto" and switch to "Gallery View" or "Speaker View", whichever works best for your purposes.

You can also try changing the settings for the mobile zoom client by clicking on the three dots in the bottom right corner and then going to "Settings". Here you can adjust the display mode and video quality settings.
