Flashing names in Zoom meetings?

In my Zoom Meeting, the names in the respective tile at the bottom left have been flashing since the last update. How can I turn this off? I would like to have the names always displayed.

The flashing of names in the zoom tile is a new feature introduced with one of the latest zoom updates. It is meant to indicate that the person is currently speaking or making sounds.

If you want to turn this feature off, you can do so via the settings:

open the Zoom app on your computer and log in.
Click the gear icon in the upper right corner to open the settings. 3.
click "Video".
uncheck the box next to "Names flash when they speak".

Once you uncheck the box, the names in the zoom tiles should no longer blink when someone is speaking or making sounds.
