How do I allow the client to record video ?

In previous versions of Zoom, I could grant permission to the client by right-clicking on its name. That doesn't seem to work anymore. I can't find the. For allowing the client to record the zoom locally, I can't. Sometimes clients can record the meeting, but sometimes they can't. They then get a message that the host must allow video recording. Unfortunately, there is no more menupunlt in the new zoom version that I can find.

To give a participant permission to record video, you must do the following as a host or co-host in the current Zoom version:

  1. open the Zoom meeting.
Click Attendee in the meeting controls at the bottom of the screen. 3.
Click the name of the participant you want to give permission to. 4.
Click the More button next to the attendee's name. 5.
  2. select Allow attendees to start local recording from the drop-down menu.

This gives the attendee permission to start local recording of the meeting. Note, however, that the meeting host can also enable or disable the meeting recording settings before the meeting starts.
