You can change the chat settings if you are the Host for the meeting session.
Options include:
Save chat to save chat session in a .txt file
Share file in meeting to send over a file in a chat
Allow attendees to chat with, control who the participants can chat with
- No one – disable chat
- Host-only – Host can send messages to participants and participants can only send message to the host
- Everyone publicly – participants can send public messages, they can still send a private message to the host
- Everyone publicly and privately – participants can send public and private messages to anyone
To access these options:
- While in a meeting, Click on Chat found in the meeting controls
- Click the More button to display meeting chat settings
- The in-meeting Chat settings should now display
