How to a conversation and audio coming through at the same time?

Hi there, we have an issue with the Zoom app, which were using through 2 android phone devices.

I'm in Europe, my girlfriend is in Guatemala, we want to exercise together through zoom. I have a running podcast I want to play through zoom. By tweaking a few zoom settings I've worked out how to make it so that I can also play the running podcast and at the same time speak to my girlfriend, so that the running podcast and our conversation is heard by both of us at the same time. Everything seems to work okay, until I plug in my Bluetooth pods, or wired earphones through the audio jack. At that point, my girlfriend stops hearing the music and only hears me. However as soon as I switch off Bluetooth or disconnect the jack phones from the phone, she can hear the music and we can also have a conversation at the same time.

Does anyone know why it is that the Bluetooth speakers and phones jack will not allow everything to be heard, and what can I do about it to make it all work properly
