How to make sure shared video is good quality for participants?

We have a few videos to display, and similarly to youtube, each video has a few versions. Each version is of different quality: 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p. Some people say the quality for other participants will be better if I share the lower quality videos as opposed to the higher quality versions.

As additional info, some participants may have poor connection. But my connection is good and I'm the one sharing.

What I'd like to know is: is this true? Should I really choose the lower quality videos? Or it doesn't matter which version I share, when it comes to what participants are watching? Thanks.

One problem with high-resolution videos is that a correspondingly fast Internet connection is required. If a 720p video loses a lot of quality for certain subscribers, it is most likely due to the subscriber's Internet connection. As a result, a 720p video may have a lower playback quality than a 360p video because it simply requires too many resources and the subscriber's slower Internet connection cannot keep up.

In this case, I recommend you play the videos at a lower quality so that all participants have the same quality. Alternatively, you can also train your participants how to change the video quality of the video you share themselves. This works through the Video Sharing Options option. Here, participants can choose from different playback qualities and individually select the resolution that works best for them.
