Is it possible to host multiple Zoom meetings at the same time?

Will I be able to schedule two meetings and let all participants from both groups join with me as the host?

Top answer

Users are not allowed to host multiple meetings at the same time. These are the common issues encountered:

  • When participants try to join a meeting that the host hasn’t started yet, they’ll receive a message saying “The host has another meeting in progress”.
  • When the host/alternative host attempts for 2 meetings simultaneously, they’ll be asked to leave the first attended meeting. The participants from the host’s 1st meeting will receive a message that the “meeting has ended” and “started a new meeting”.
  • When a host is already hosting an extra meeting, the H.323/SIP Devices with join before host enabled that join a meeting will be prompted for a host key for the meeting
  • The first meeting will end abruptly if a Zoom Room tries to start a second meeting with join before host enabled

But, you (as participant) can join multiple meetings at the same time (Zoom desktop client needed)
