Is it possible to spotlight in breakout rooms?

I see there is a pin option, but we are running a program with younger kids where we start as a large group before breaking up into smaller breakout rooms each with their own teacher. It would be super helpful if each teacher (co-hosts) could spotlight themselves within the breakout rooms instead of having to get all of the young kids to figure out how to pin them...

Yes, there is a way for co-hosts in breakout rooms to spotlight themselves without each participant having to do it manually. Here are the steps:

  1. start the Zoom meeting and break it into breakout rooms.
  2. Make sure each teacher has been invited as a co-facilitator and is able to direct the participants.
  3. once the participants are in their breakout rooms, ask the teachers hosting the participants to activate the video and audio options and spotlight themselves by clicking on their own video images and selecting "Focus on my video".
  4. Repeat these steps for each teacher in the breakout rooms.
