Zoom Inc. Zoom Video Conferencing - Why does my microphone not work in Zoom Meeting?

Hello!I use a yeti stereo microphone. It works fine with Skype/Discord, I have set it as default in the system preferences. If I test this microphone with Zoom (Windows 10) in the settings (I haven't connected one otherwise) it works without problems (I can hear myself after the short recording!). So far so good. BUT when I start a meeting now, I get the message "Your microphone is not working properly". If I now use the possibility to "test loudspeaker & microphone" in the meeting itself, the same microphone suddenly doesn't work? How can this be, what else can I do?LG Bernd

Hi there! It might be due to Windows not having the permission to use the Microphone itself. Verify if it's enabled by following the steps below.

Type in "Microphone privacy settings" on the Windows search box and navigate to it
Make sure that "Allow apps to access your microphone" and "Allow desktop apps to access your microphone" is enabled
Do a quick power cycle after it has been enabled from being disabled and test if the microphone is now working on Zoom
