Why does my video show that I’m upside down?

The camera works fine with other applications I have installed on my desktop. The virtual background in zoom even works right with the correct orientation. How do I set my camera to make me appear in the correct upright position?

I experienced this once so maybe my fix applies to your current situation as well. I provided steps down below for you to follow.

Open the Zoom desktop app and login
Click on the Gear icon found just below your profile picture
Choose the Video tab
Click on the 90-degree rotate button found on the upper right of your camera view (Click until your camera view is on the right orientation)
