Can I setup my Dot using ONLY my computer?

My PC version of Alexa Does not seem to have a way to connect (or instructions for) to Wi-fi. I do not have or want a mobile phone. The computer has no problem on wi-fi. If there's going to be a PC version, shouldn't it have instructions for setting up a wi-fi connection from there?

It is possible to set up an Echo Dot without a cell phone. In fact, setting it up via the Alexa app on a cell phone or tablet is just an option to make the process easier.

To set up your Echo Dot without a cell phone, you can use the Alexa web app on your computer. To do this, go to the website alexa.amazon.com and sign in with your Amazon account. Then click "Settings" and select "Set up new device". Follow the instructions to connect your Echo Dot to your Wi-Fi network and set it up.

If you have trouble connecting to your Wi-Fi network, make sure you have entered the correct password for your Wi-Fi network and that you are within range of the Wi-Fi network. It may also help to turn off or disconnect other Wi-Fi devices nearby from your network to avoid possible interference.
