How do I disable Drop in?

I understand that you have granted your kids Drop in permission. There are multiple ways in which you can turn off this function/feature depending on your circumstance and preference.

You can just say “Alexa disable Drop In” or going to your own contact card so that you can turn it off. If you also have approved any other contact persons' Drop in permission, you can just go to their contact cards and disable it there. If you want to disable a specific device (assuming you have multiple), open the Alexa App and go to Devices icon > Echo & Alexa > [Your Device Name] > Communicationsand you’ll see the option there.

Another option is to activate or turn on the ‘Do Not Disturb’ function to one or all of your Echo devices, this can be achieved by saying “Alexa, turn on Do Not Disturb”. Hoping that this would be of help.
