To connect a camera to the Cam1 input of the ATEM Mini Pro via an SDI converter, you must follow the procedure below:

  1. connect the SDI cable to the SDI output of your camera and the SDI input of the SDI converter.
Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI output of the SDI converter and the HDMI input of your camera. This will convert the signal from the camera to the correct format that the ATEM Mini Pro can handle.
Connect the SDI cable to the SDI output of the SDI converter and the Cam1 input of the ATEM Mini Pro. 4.
Make sure that the ATEM Mini Pro is set to the correct input mode. To do this, you must select the Cam1 input in the ATEM Mini Pro menu and set the correct input format (e.g. 1080p/60Hz).
  2. Make sure the camera is set to the correct output mode. Some cameras may require a special setting to work with an SDI converter.
Turn on your camera and the ATEM Mini Pro. If everything is connected and set correctly, the image from the camera should display on the ATEM Mini Pro.
