To troubleshoot, try the following:

  1. Enter "services.mcs" in the search box
  2. Enter Windows Audio
  3. Right click> Restart
  4. Wait for the restart to finish and try again

Here is a tutorial once again:

  1. press the Windows key + R.
  2. now type in "service.msc
  3. scroll down to "Windows Audio

If this does not help it could be due to other causes. Here are a few additional things you can try or check:

  1. make sure you are connected to the audio conference. When connected, a phone or headset icon will appear next to your name in the participant area.
  2. use the Audio and Video Connection ... or Computer Audio Settings ... option. in the Audio menu to make sure you have selected the correct speaker for the audio function. You can also adjust the audio volume on this screen.
  3. the exclamation mark

    is displayed when your speakers or headset are/is muted in your computer's sound settings. This is a different setting than any muting in the meeting window itself.
    If you hover over the exclamation point, you can see if your speakers or microphone are/is muted. Click here to fix the problem.
