All of the LED Indicators on the Crestron CP4 - can someone please explain the role and what each variation means?
There are a few LED indicators on the Crestron CP4, and below I will explain what all of them represent:
PWR LED - when the LED is green, it indicates that the operating power is being supplied either from the power pack or the Cresnet power supply
NET LED - when the LED is amber, it is indicated that there is communication with Cresnet devices
MSG LED - when this LED is red, it means that the control processor has an error message
LAN LED (on the rear) - when it is green/amber it indicates the Ethernet link status and connection speed, while when it is only amber, indicates Ethernet activity
Also, there are 2 more controls which are not LEDs but buttons:
HW-R - push button used for hardware reset
SW-R - push button used for software reset
