Is there a master password for the Gira X1 mini server?
If I lose the password for the Gira X1 mini server, is there a master password that can be used for activation, or are there any steps that can be performed to reset it?

Unfortunately, if you perform a factory reset on the Gira X1 mini server, the password on the device remains activated.
Each of the Gira X1 users receives their password, stored in the application for controlling the mini server - Gira Smart Home app. There is no additional password protection that can be used for individual functions as of the app version 1.1.49.
As an end-user/end-customer, the password of your Gira X1 should be provided in the documentation from the electrical engineering team that is supplying/installing the device.
If you are doing a firmware upgrade or update on the Gira X1 and you still haven't received a password, the password that can be used after the update is "device".
