eBox smart not charging?

Hello Community,

I have connected the eBox (smart socket-type-2EU without eSmartMeter) via a 5 x10 square electrical cable (without smart meter). As required, a residual current circuit breaker type A (Doepke FI switch DFS4 040-4_0,03-A EV residual current circuit breaker) is installed in the UV, as well as a miniature circuit breaker from Hager.

The connection was made by a master electrician and the functional tests on the voltage and the residual current circuit breaker were proper.

The vehicle does not charge via the external charging cable. When the cable is connected, the vehicle connection indicator does not light up. At the passenger car, the connection is locked, but no charging occurs. To test, I successfully charged at another charging station.

Why is the wallbox not charging?

Thanks in advance for any helpful tips.

The wallbox must be commissioned with the app according to the user manual before start-up.
After that, you as the end user also have an app, the eCharge + App.
You connect the charging cable to the wallbox first, then to the vehicle.
After that, you have to allow charging in the app. Only then will your car charge.
