USB connection to laptop doesn,t working?

I have a problem when connecting to a laptop via USB. When connecting the system via USB, the only thing I can see is the camera, I can't see anything else (microphone and speakerphone).

Answers

  • Check your setup: Are all cables and connections tight and connected correctly?
  • Try a different USB port: Sometimes one of the system's USB ports may have a problem.
  • Try another computer: Does GROUP work on another system?
  • If GROUP is connected via a USB hub or extender, try connecting it directly to the USB port: Some external hubs or extenders may not have sufficient power or specifications to support GROUP.
  • In Windows, open the Device Manager to check if the driver is properly installed
  • Device Manager under Windows
  • You can access the Device Manager by a) clicking on the Windows start button and b) entering "Device Manager" in the search bar to the right of the start icon
  • Open "Image processing devices" and check if Logitech GROUP is listed. If it is not listed:
  • Try a different USB port
  • Check whether Windows Update is activated.
  • Windows Update is a Microsoft service that automatically downloads and installs updates to the operating system via the Internet.
  • You can access Windows Update by selecting the Windows Start icon and entering Windows Update in the search field. The Windows Update settings are controlled by the administrator of your system. So if you are working in a business environment, you may need to contact your IT department (note: insert images here)
  • If Logitech GROUP is displayed with a yellow exclamation mark, try the following:
  • In Device Manager, click on the GROUP device with the yellow exclamation mark icon and select Update Driver.
  • Select Update driver in the update dialog.
  • Select Search automatically for updated driver software
  • Select the listed Logitech GROUP driver

  • If Logitech GROUP is listed without a yellow exclamation mark, try the following to ensure that the latest driver is installed:
  • In Device Manager, click on the GROUP device and select Update Driver.
  • Select Update driver in the update dialog.
  • Select Search automatically for updated driver software
  • Select the listed Logitech GROUP driver
  • If you have completed all of these steps and the problem persists, a device or cable error may be responsible. If you have a different GROUP and can try the cable from that device, we recommend trying that first. If the problem persists, contact technical support.
