Why are the camera & microphone/speaker turning off?

Yesterday the system worked fine. Today the camera and microphone/speaker "wake up" then immediately turn off and go back to "sleep".

I've tested the cable from the laptop to the base unit with no improvement. The base unit seems fine and its blue light is on. The other two units light up for a second or two only, then turn off. I can't see any driver updates I've missed.

Any suggestions? I use this system daily.

Judging by the question, it is probably a sporadic defect of the system. You can try resetting the system and replacing the USB cable if necessary.On the Logitech website there is a Group Diagnostic Tool for the Group to check the camera and microphone.Otherwise, contact Logitech support for a repair or replacement of the device.
