How to correctly share from PC?

Service provider Teams. Available 2 Displays. Teams Pro license.
2 displays are connected in HDMI-OUT 1 and 2. A laptop is connected to HDMI-IN.
When we start share the screen from the laptop, it share to the 2nd display (HDMI-OUT 2). But when the second display is turned off, Rally Bar Mini does not realize this and continues to share to the 2nd HDMI-OUT which is actually turned off.

Answers

If a screen is switched off, there may still be "signal" on the HDMI cable. The Rally Bar will still think there is a screen. Unplug the cable directly from the screen or check the screen settings to see if there is a setting such as HPD (Hot Plug Detection) or similar. This allows the signal to be switched off depending on the manufacturer, depending on the condition of the device.

  • Also check whether the Rally Bar Mini is up to date to rule out firmware errors.
  • Restart the Rally Bar Mini when the screen is switched off.
