The "normal" Tap is connected directly to a PC/Rally Bar/Roommate via USB or USB/Lan dongle. It can be used as a control element for the Appliance Mode of the Rally Bar versions, Roommate or with PC/Mac as Zoom Room/Teams Room Controller. The Tap also has an HDMI input with which HDMI signals can be fed into a video conference (with the Tap Ip, for example, the HDMI input of the Rally Bar can be used for this).

The Tap IP is, as the name suggests, integrated into the network and supplied with power via Poe. It can be used as a control element for the Appliance Mode of the Rally Bar versions, Roommate or as Zoom Room Controller.
