Microsoft Teams - PPT sound files in TEAMS - how to solve the problem?

I use TEAMS (as a locally installed program in current version, not as a web client) for language teaching purposes using PPT presentations containing sound files. It happens that the participants of a course tell me (this exchange of sounds works without problems) that they do not hear the sound track in PPT. Before starting the PPT presentation I have activated the slider for "Include computer sound". I then look at the slider position: the slider is back to off. Activating it again does not help, unfortunately. This is, of course, extremely impractical for language lessons, annoying, disruptive, unacceptable. I don't dare to delete the program and restart it in the middle of the course, because I can't foresee possible negative consequences of this action. There can be several reasons why the slider for Include Computer Sound in Teams is reset. Here are some possible solutions:

check to see if the problem occurs with all participants in the course or only some. If it only occurs with some participants, it could be that their audio settings are not configured correctly on their devices.
Make sure that all participants are using the latest version of Teams. It may be that older versions of Teams are causing this problem.
try running Teams as an administrator. To do this, right-click the Teams icon and select Run as Administrator.
Temporarily disable the antivirus or firewall software on your computer and see if that fixes the problem. 5.
delete the Teams cache files. To do this, click on your profile picture in Teams and select Settings >
