Why will MiR100 not go through door?

Hi I am working on a class project involving the MiR100 we are able to get it move through the room with relative ease the issue arises when we try to have it go through the door. For some reason it is unable to do so unless we open the second door next to it we even went through the MiR academy and tried using the critical zone but it still didn't work. What is even more odd is that when it does plot to go to the next position it skips the one in between it and the one it is planning on going to and it becomes stuck in loop going between blocked, planning, and Drive to Destination. Can I please have some help with this issue?
