Windows 11 Laptop recognizes the Flip 4 screen, but why won't it connect?

Hi,
Several classrooms have the same issue - lack of connectivity. It worked fine until now. Today, neither connecting with an HDMI cable, nor with Windows+K works. The Screen is recognized by the laptop (we get the Windows-K connection screen on the lower right), but it just seems to be connecting forever, with no result. It then says "connection error".
Can you please let me know the correct set-up to use with Windows -K?
Ie - is it bluetooth or wifi ? Why do we need to activate both (like mentioned in some answers on this forum). I really wish to understand this connectivity best because we have regular troublehsooting issues like this.
