PN/PN Coupler

Description

The PN/PN Coupler enables fast deterministic data exchange between CPUs within PROFINET controller devices, completely independent of the communication technology. Enables simultaneous data transfer of up to 3 CPUs on its network or/and up to 4 CPUs on the opposite network side. The PN/PN Coupler has a filedbus connection via a SIMATIC BusAdapter that allows free selection of the connection system. It provides data exchange in the cyclic transmission of up to 1440 bytes of data with a maximum of 16 areas of data exchange. Has galvanic isolation between the two networks, providing comprehensive diagnostics via LED displays or interrupts. The PN/PN Coupler offers module-internal shared input/output (MSI/MSO) and media redundancy (MRP and MRPD).
