How to solve Jabra PanaCast flickering and freezing?

Hello Everyone,

I have been experiencing some issues with the video quality of my jabra pancast.

I believe the problem is connected to installation or setup. Does anyone have suggestions or experience with it?

Thanks!!

Best Regards

Possible reasons for freezing or flickering in Jabra PanaCast video can be the following. Check your installation and setup.

  1. Use only the supplied 1-meter cable or the optional Jabra 1.8-meter cable. Try using another original Jabra Panacast cable, for example from a working camera, to eliminate possible cable problems.
If you use a USB extension cable or USB hub solution, make sure it is a Jabra approved list of extension cables and USB hub solutions. You can check this information in the "Product Documents" section.
Try using a different USB port on the computer. Alternatively, try testing the camera on a different computer.
  2. if possible, try using a different video playback application to see if the problem persists.
  3. Video flickering may occur if you are working in a region/country (such as Australia, France, Germany, United Kingdom) that operates at 50 Hz or if you are using the Jabra PanaCast in extreme lighting conditions. To reduce video flicker, set the line frequency setting in Jabra Direct* to 50 Hz.
