I recently held an important zoom meeting and recorded it. While we were in the meeting I pressed and stopped the recording multiple times and converted them while the meeting was going to be sure everything was working as this was my first time using zoom. When the meeting ended and the final recording was con converted, the old recording were gone with no where on the system to be found. I'm wondering what happened and if there's a possibility to recover the video or even the "double click to convert .zoom" file?? Please help, this recording was important.

As I understand it seems the original recording just suddenly disappeared after the conversion process and can no longer be found. It may still be in your cloud recordings which can still be recovered within 30 days of deletion. However, if it is deleted from the trash or if it already reached 30 days, it will be forever gone. The cloud recordings can be accessed through your Zoom account.

Recover the deleted cloud recording by following the steps found below:

Login to your Zoom account and navigate to the Recordings tab.
If there are any cloud recordings in the trash, you will see a Trash tab in the top right. Click this to see any deleted cloud recordings within the past 30 days.
To recover the recording, click the Recover link on the right.
Click Recover again to confirm.
Your recording will then be available again in your recordings list.
