Set zoom "Home Region"

Hello,
I have a Zoom Pro account, and would like to restrict the server region to Europe. Unfortunately I cannot deactivate the USA there. As far as I could understand this is because you cannot exclude the region where the account was registered. Only why this should be the USA is not clear to me, since the account was created from Germany of course.
Can someone tell me if I can change the "home region" of my account somewhere to exclude the USA as server region, or what I can take care of so that a new account is correctly registered as belonging to Germany and I can restrict the server region to Europe?
Thanks a lot

Hello user40067,

Zoom themselves have described this quite well by now. The following explanation they give:

To select datacenter regions for all users in your account:

  1. Log in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with permission to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Account Management, and then click Account Settings.
  3. Under In Meeting (Advanced), verify that Select data center regions for meetings/webinars hosted by your account is enabled.
  4. If the setting is disabled, click the status toggle button to enable it. If a confirmation dialog appears, select Enable to confirm the change.
  5. Select the regions through which you want to route your traffic during meetings and webinars.
  6. (Optional) If you want this setting to be binding for all users on your account, click the lock icon first and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

Unfortunately, this does not answer the initial question! At this point I can set all countries - except the country that is set as Zoom's "home region". Usually the USA. And just this country I would like to exclude, but that is not possible, because yes "home region".... So I would like to change the home region, that is the country where the account was registered. But unfortunately I can't find anything on the web about this, so unfortunately I have to continue to accept that everything also runs via the USA with its unfortunately rather non-DSGVO-compliant data processing.

According to Zoom, you have the option to exclude all locations except your own home region. In your case, I would open a ticket directly with Zoom.
